Claire Hadley

Claire Hadley is the Reviews Editor at JillLebofsky. She reads supplement labels line by line, compares each ingredient dose with the human research summarized by the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, NCCIH and PubMed, and reads the refund, price and auto-ship terms in full. She also looks for complaint patterns before a review goes live. Claire is not a doctor or any other kind of medical professional, and her reviews are desk research, not medical advice.

About Claire

Claire Hadley is the Reviews Editor at JillLebofsky. She writes and checks our guides to supplements sold through online ads, from sleep capsules to weight loss blends. Her focus is a simple question that sales pages rarely answer: is the dose on the label the dose used in the research? She does not have medical credentials, and she does not give medical advice. She reads the same public sources anyone can read and does the slow work of lining them up against the label.

For each review, Claire starts with the Supplement Facts panel. She notes the serving size, the amount of each ingredient and any proprietary blend that hides individual amounts. Then she reads the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements and NCCIH pages for each ingredient and records what the studies found and what doses they used. She checks the sales page against FTC guidance on health claims and FDA rules on labels, and she reads the refund terms before anyone else has to.

Claire does not buy, test or take the products she covers, and JillLebofsky does not claim that she does. She does not assign stars or scores. When the evidence is thin, she says so. When a label leaves a dose impossible to check, she says that too. JillLebofsky earns affiliate commissions on some links, and Claire writes each review knowing that the reader is about to spend real money. If you spot an error, email editor@jilllebofsky.com and she will look at it.
