JillLebofsky is a static website. We have no user accounts, no comments, no newsletter and no analytics cookies. Like every website, our servers handle basic request data, such as your IP address, so pages can load and attacks can be blocked. This policy explains what is processed, by whom, and what changes when you click an affiliate link.
Who is responsible for this site?
JillLebofsky is an online supplement review publication at jilllebofsky.com. We do not have a street address or phone line. For any privacy question, email editor@jilllebofsky.com.
This policy takes effect on October 28, 2026.
What information do we collect directly?
Very little. You cannot create an account, post a comment, subscribe to a newsletter or fill in a form on this site. We do not ask for your name, address, payment details or health information. The only personal information we receive directly is what you choose to send us by email.
What do our hosting servers record?
The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like most web hosts, Hostinger's servers keep standard access logs when a page is requested. A log entry usually includes:
- the IP address that made the request
- the date and time
- the page or file requested
- the referring page, if your browser sends one
- your browser and device type, as reported by your browser
- whether the request succeeded or failed
These logs are used to deliver the site, fix errors and spot abuse, such as repeated attacks. They are kept for a limited period under the host's own retention settings. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors and we do not sell them.
What does Cloudflare process?
Traffic to this site passes through Cloudflare, a content delivery and security network. Cloudflare processes IP addresses and request data to deliver pages quickly from servers near you and to filter out bots and attacks. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell real visitors from automated traffic. That cookie is not used for advertising or to track you across other sites. Cloudflare's handling of this data is described in its own privacy policy.
Do we use cookies or analytics?
We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not run third-party ad networks on this site. Apart from the security cookie Cloudflare may set, this site does not place cookies on your device.
If we add an analytics tool or any other cookie in the future, we will update this policy before or at the time we add it, and we will describe what it collects and how to opt out.
What happens when you click an affiliate link?
Our reviews contain affiliate links, as explained in our affiliate disclosure. When you click one, you leave JillLebofsky and go to the seller's site, usually through an affiliate network such as ClickBank, BuyGoods or MaxWeb. The network and the seller may set their own cookies, for example to record that the visit came from us so we can be paid a commission if you buy.
Once you leave our site, the seller's and the network's privacy policies apply, not this one. Any order, payment or shipping details you enter are collected by them. We do not receive your name, payment details or order contents. Networks usually tell us only that a sale or refund happened and the commission amount.
What happens when you email us?
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it to reply, to check and record corrections, and to keep a record of what we changed and why. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share your email for marketing.
Please do not send us personal health information. We do not answer medical questions, as our medical disclaimer explains.
Do we sell or share personal information?
No. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising. The only parties that process visitor data for this site are our hosting provider and Cloudflare, for the delivery and security purposes described above, and anyone we are legally required to share information with, such as in response to a valid legal request.
What choices and rights do you have?
Depending on the US state you live in, you may have the right to ask what personal information a business holds about you, to ask for a copy, to ask for corrections or to ask for deletion. Because we collect so little, the main thing we may hold is email you sent us. To make a request, email editor@jilllebofsky.com and tell us what you want. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the Cloudflare security cookie may mean you see extra security checks.
How do we protect information?
The site is served over HTTPS. Because it is static and has no login or database of visitor data, there is little personal information on our side to protect. Email is kept in a password-protected account. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us sensitive information.
Is this site for children?
No. JillLebofsky is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has emailed us, contact us and we will delete the message.
Will this policy change?
We will update this policy if our practices change, for example if we add analytics, a newsletter or a contact form. Any change will be posted on this page with a new date.
How can you contact us about privacy?
Email editor@jilllebofsky.com or visit our contact page. You can also read our terms of use and learn more about JillLebofsky.
